We took a supplement of guarantee AXA, but the agency refused and forced us to take their insurance which was very expensive

Car is reasonable and as expected, but pick up location is in a separate building next to the terminal nut not mentioned on the booking contract, this should be improved. It may not necessary to get full protection from web since the car rental will sell you additional insurance and you don't need to claim the excess. Further, the renter full coverage is essential for driving in Sicily.

Booking is smooth and price ia good.

Office for pickup/drop off fairly difficult to locate as there aren’t many signs. Car had a knocking noise on suspension and no windscreen wash on pickup. Waited quite a long time on drop off as there was only one member of staff dealing with customers.

Pick up drop off location not in terminal as described. Everything else from EasyRentCars was great and easy to use.

Poor service and terrible car cleanliness

Maggiore at Catania tried to sell me insurance and refused they then tried to del me fuel option and I again refused. Despite this they charged me for the fuel option. The vehicle had pre-existing damage. They did not note damage to the front right rim being a scratch. When I returned the car the agent wiped only the front right rim and said I scratched it. I felt scammed and it has been a nightmare dealing with this

Easy Rent Cars has been a pleasure

The customer service was excellent, though at the airport in Catania where to pick up the car was not at all clear and we ended up waiting over two hours to pick up the car which was a bit of a nightmare.

Good attitude, but service is a bit slow

Staff competence was average, attitude was indifferent.

A lot of time spend of pick-up,over 40 min.the car was not clean.the fuels not full.at the drop off ceck at each damages.

The car was dirty, damaged and required that I alert staff of the damage to the car before pickup.

The collection took about 90 minutes, just to get through the queue - for which you had to take a ticket to reserve your place - although this was not immediately obvious. There must be a simpler and more efficient way in which to book people into cars than the systems used here - it took about 20 minutes per car - horrendous!

The car was great and the service as well.

The website is easy to use and very clear.

It's surprising that such a big company doesn't have a POS machine. Manual entry had to be used for payment, and since I used a HSBC card, the bank saw it as a risky transaction and froze the merchant's account. I couldn't rent the car as a result.

Plus de 2h d’attente pour récupérer la voiture, après 30min de recherche pour comprendre qu’ils ne sont pas au terminal comme annoncé. Toutefois rien à dire sur l’agence que ça soit pour récupérer ou rendre la voiture, ils ont été professionnels.

No issues with the paperwork, but the pick-up point was a bit rundown, and there wasn’t enough staff. There are just too many people renting cars in Sicily, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, plus the sun outside was scorching.
