The car had many issues and the fuel tank was not completely full.

The car I received had 90,000 kilometers on it. It was too old and didn't live up to the Hertz brand. I chose Hertz because their cars are usually new, typically with only about 10,000 kilometers. Additionally, the vehicle's features were poor, and the manual sunroof was extremely inconvenient. They also required me to pay a 2000 Euro deposit.

The rental location was far from the airport, the car's condition was mediocre and not clean. When we picked up the car, it already had visible damage and lacked floor mats. It seemed like it hadn't been washed as there were dead bugs on the front of the car. We were given a car from the outdoor lot even though there was an indoor parking option; they insisted we go to their headquarters for an outdoor pick-up. It was raining heavily when we picked up the car, so we couldn't thoroughly inspect its condition. Upon return, we noticed a small scratch on the bottom, but we couldn't be sure if it happened during our rental since we didn't remember any incidents. However, we were held responsible and our deposit was fully deducted. They interrogated us for half an hour as if we were criminals, even though we had full insurance coverage.

The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

Around 7 PM, the pickup point was not crowded, and the staff were very friendly.

The staff at the counter was rude, strongly recommending insurance to me. When I refused, they questioned if I could drive a manual. I directly told them I had been driving in Australia for a month and had just driven in the UK for over 10 days before coming to Ireland. They shut up after that, but still blocked a deposit of 1550 euros on my credit card.

Rented a car in the city center of Ireland and returned it at the airport. Using a credit card incurs a handling fee. They will promote insurance on-site, so make sure to ask clearly. The staff's service attitude was excellent and they patiently answered all my questions.

The order stated a full tank on return, but they charged 60 euros at pickup for a mandatory fuel purchase. Even though the rental contract mentioned a precharge, the staff clearly said it would not be refunded, so I didn't dare to return the car with a full tank.

This isn’t the first time we rented from them, and we still have a great impression.
