Booked corolla, received hiundai with high kms and smell of smoke inside, but car was clean and reliable. Some concern with the sat nav as the maps were out of date. ended up bit confused and lost once. Staff were very good at drop off and pick up, including shuttle bus driver who got us back to airport promptly

I had hired the car on 2nd Feb and returned it on 3rd Feb, its been more than 3 weeks but I haven't received back the security amount from Atlas. I have called them up twice in past 2 weeks, they just say that their automated refund system is failing and will escalate my request. But nothing has been done till date, thats very frustrating.
When I rang Atlas from the airport I was asked which terminal I was in ... not sure, but that was corrected when I spoke with someone. But we found the pickup area quickly, the bus arrived within 10 minutes and I was served quickly at pickup and dropoff. My only comment was that the car had plenty of scraped paint and was dirty inside - but for the savings I made vs hiring from the airport, I didn't mind at all. I will be a returning customer!
There is only one person at the counter. Took more than 20 minutes to complete. The car was dirty with no mats. The car was driven more than 125,000 km and the condition is not so good. The fuel tank was not full.
The car was great and in excellent conditions. The service was quick and easy with pick and drop off.
The only feedback I would give is, on my arrival on the 24th January to pick up my car the counter staff who was a male. He made me feel quite rushed, and explained everything like a speed of light like he had no time. He also asked me to pay the remainder which he originally quoted more, I think brought out my paperwork and said the outstanding amount is less than the amount he quoted me to pay. It rushed, didn’t apologise for the incorrect amount. If I didn’t check the amount prior to confirming payment I would have been overcharged. He brushed it off without questioning the amount difference. When he went through the T&C and when we checked out the condition of the car, he spoke so fast that I didn’t have time to take it all in. Being a little more patient would have been a better front counter experience.

When order online I didn't purchase insurance. During pick up the staff that serves me makes me feel uncomfortable and I felt kinda like threaten while he try to ask me to buy the insurance. Very don't care attitude and I don't feel like I'm welcome at all. Eventually I end up bought the insurance which I'm not happy and willingly AT ALL. Drop off staff was completely different from the pickup staff and if it's other way round it would be great. Dropped off the car and the staff checked the car and I even asked if everything is good and the staff said everything is good and I'm good to go. Called customer service to check about the deposit refund few days after and replied I should be able to get back my deposit on 22/2. Nothing happens until 26/2 and I have to call again and asked if there's any problem with the deposit refund, replied everything is good and they will send the request to the related department to process the refund. There's still no refund till the moment I write this comment which is already 1/3. Extremely disappointed and unhappy from the very beginning till this moment of time. Have to admit this company offers cheaper price compared to others but after this experience I won't even consider about this company ANYMORE regardless of how cheap they offer.

This is my first experience posting negative feedback for any business - so it was bad! The woman at the service counter needs some support in her job. People were lined up for service & she appeared stressed & miserable. Her communication was rude & abrupt. At one point she kicked us all out of the office so she could take a short break. She insulted me in front of a line of people waiting, announcing that I couldn't afford to pay when the issue was that I held cash & not a credit card. I was alone in a strange city with 2 children in tow. She upset me a lot. There was nothing easy about dealing with this company.
I returned the car with a full tank, but they claimed it wasn't full because the fuel gauge was slightly off and wanted to charge me a fee. When I drove off again, the gauge returned to full. I chose to drive to refuel and got into a minor accident with a third-party vehicle. Even though I provided the other driver's license and information, they made me pay 200 AUD on the spot, claiming it was the maximum compensation. Then, five months later, without any reason or notification, my credit card was charged nearly 4000 AUD!!! The rental car company's customer service has not provided a detailed explanation or evidence for almost two months. To this day, they have not refunded the unjustified charge.
The rules say that the security amount will be refunded within 10 working days.It will be more than 10 weeks, Even though,I didn't get back my refund.Whenever I contact customer care,they promises that the security amount will be 2 business days..They said to me like 8 times..But no use.Try to get back my money.thanks.

Unclean and poor condition of car. Car not ready on time (over hour). Poor access/parking at car hire. Unprofessional appearance of some staff members. Central locking/key less entry not working.
Great service from staff at counter.
Confirmation email mention to go to "M" for collection which is wrong then when you call you are told via text to go to brown section (which can't be seen as it is over head and seen once you pass and look back) then you are told to wait for a "RED" Atlas bus. Well the bus is white with Atlas in red. Also no mention on what area to wait for in the section as it is long. Why not have a magnetic sign for Atlas Shuttle for car rentals on bus for easier identification. I want the only per see on who found this to be a problem all bbn passages had similar problems!
Pretty terrible with Atlas, reception was extremely unprofessional, the guy had a pet parrot which the guy would stop half way on my check in to feed?!
The car also stank of urine
