“Los Angeles - Las Vegas - Death Valley - San Francisco - Los Angeles”
About AVIS:2.0/10
They added many insurances without saying anything, even though I had already bought them on the domestic platform! The store staff didn't inform me, and the rental agreement was hard to understand. They didn't charge any fees at that time, only pre-authorized. After returning the car and boarding the plane, I received the charge notification via SMS several hours later, after the flight had landed!
Very poor car rental service. They added extra insurance at the counter, and when I wanted to cancel it, they said it would be refunded when I returned the car. It turned out to be a scam.
Also, I booked a Ford but got a Mazda.

The staff's attitude was okay, but there were a lot of customers at Los Angeles airport and very few staff members. I had to wait in line for two hours.

I bought full insurance on QEEQ, so I had to be extra careful not to buy it again at the office, which was exhausting. My poor English made it difficult, and I had to message QEEQ to confirm everything each time. The staff didn't have the patience for that. It might be less tiring to buy insurance at the office. I haven’t compared the prices, but you often end up spending extra money on trips. It’s hard to avoid.
I will never use Avis again. Vehicle broke down , vehicle seized up doing twenty miles and hour to a dead stop,I we were almost hit and then a comparable vehicle was not brought to exchange. They left us stranded on the side of the road said it would take four hours for replaced vehicle. Several hours later and several unnecessary calls asking what type of vehicle is needed. 12 hours later still. A vehicle to small was brought, we did not except vehicle. This service was Completely unexceptable. I will never recommend this company. Terrible experience!!!!!!!
Strongly dissatisfied. When handling the paperwork, they told us we would get a free upgrade for Christmas. We confirmed several times on the spot that there would be no extra charges for the holiday. However, after we returned the car and came back to our country, we found out they charged us $81 on the return day. Through QEEQ, we found out it was the fee for the car upgrade. We couldn't understand the contract and only had verbal confirmation. AVIS really scammed us. The AVIS staff had the appearance of a person from a certain densely populated Asian country! Be careful everyone!
