When I said I didn't want insurance, their attitude immediately became terrible. They have too few cars, there was hardly any choice. We arrived at noon, and there was only one mid-sized SUV left. The queue was also very long, Americans are really inefficient!
It was quite irritating to wait for bus taking you to rental company and back to airport. The bus frequency with comparison with other companies was very very rare.
We waited for a long time to get the car, which was not the car we reserved. We reserved a mini van and ended up with a SUV with 3rd row seating after waiting for a very long time for a van. There were many other families waiting for a mini van as well but there were none available. We got tired of waiting as our visit was short in LA and we had much to do. We finally agreed to take a SUV just to get out of the Thrifty lot.
The foreign staff pushed too much insurance, and I didn’t understand the language well. They also tried to sell me a navigation service for several hundred dollars. I have no idea what else they were selling. The rental fee was $296.2, but I ended up paying $1097.63, most likely all due to insurance. Since I didn't understand the language, I had no choice but to accept everything. Next time I rent a car, please have the rental company staff remain silent and follow the booking details from the platform directly for Chinese customers. Is it possible for the rental company to have Chinese-speaking staff for Chinese customers?
The service was okay. They recommended insurance, but it wasn't mandatory and they didn't push it. There was an incident with the car, and the customer service manager was quite helpful, but I haven't received the compensation yet, so I'm unsure of the final outcome.

We booked a car way ahead of time and prepaid, yet on the day of arrival we waited for nearly an hour only to be told there was no car available. We were given a different car with instructions to come back the next day for a replacement. When we returned the next day, they told us again there was no car. The staff's attitude was terrible, and they even refused to let us complain, saying if we did, they wouldn't help us check. The store manager claimed he wasn't on duty the previous day and didn't know what happened. We were left with no choice but to wait, ruining our entire morning's schedule. Absolutely awful.
Terrible company. Do not go for the cheaper option with this company. We already purchased three insurances on the rental platform, but when we got to the store, the staff kept pushing more insurance on us. We refused but then they asked us to swipe our card for a violation deposit. Turns out they charged us for full coverage insurance instead. When we got back, we found out they deducted over 1700! This is a scam company!
I was tricked into buying insurance when picking up the car. I clearly told the rental company I didn't want it, but they still insisted I needed basic insurance. I had already purchased basic insurance when I placed the order, but they tricked me into paying for more. I am furious.
Walking 50 meters to the right from the terminal, there was the car rental company. I waited less than 5 minutes at the pickup point before seeing the company's shuttle bus. The driver was very enthusiastic, standing on the bus, helping us load our luggage onto the racks. We quickly arrived at the car rental office, presented our reservation, the staff checked it on the computer, and asked if we needed an upgrade or additional insurance. Since we bought the most comprehensive insurance on QEEQ, we declined, and the staff didn't push us to buy anything else. The process was quick; they directed us to the backyard to pick up the car. The staff pointed to the model we rented, saying all keys were in the cars, which were all clean. We could choose any; once chosen, we drove to the exit, showed our driver's license to the staff, they checked it and let us go. Everything went smoothly, and the service was very friendly.
