The counter staff forcefully upsold insurance; it took a long time to negotiate. Later, we were also asked to purchase a toll charge which cost over $70, but the actual toll fees were less than $20. I won't choose this company again next time.

Like: pick up/drop off instructions were easy to understand. Booking process was smooth and efficient. Excellent value for money.
Dislike: At the rental counter i felt like i was unnecessarily sold an unlimited toll fee package which i didn't really need. And also looking back at receipt i seem to have been charged for a concession fee recovery which i thought fro my booking was included in the price.

The staff insisted on purchasing insurance even though I already bought full coverage through the rental service. After returning the car, there were many unexpected charges. Thrifty has serious overcharging issues.
