CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON ACE RENTAL CARS IN BRISBANE

I was offered a 10 seater bus and then given an Outlander when I actually asked for a small car. The service was ok on arrival. The drop off was not that good!!!!!!!!

Like: Pick up and drop off from airport
Dislike: Only wanted a small vehicle but as it was not available got a larger vehicle. Where the ‘upgrade’ was nice we wanted fuel efficiency. The vehicle we were supplied had some mechanical noises that were a bit disconcerting. But to be fair, it didn’t let us down and fuel was ok.

Waited for a long time when dropping off the car.

Did not get a Corolla as illustrated so luggage space was a struggle. No floor mats. Very small pickup/drop off area for number of cars. Very competitive rental pricing.

Received a free upgrade from a Corolla to a Camry since they didn't have a Corolla available.

Modern well maintained vehicle. Airport shuttle was seamless and too easy.

Ace Rental Cars Staff were great. We obviously underestimated the size of the car and your staff offered a larger car which we declined. But was thankful for the offer. Please congratulate your staff for their empathy and professionalism.

Dislike: Get back to old pickup system, this electronic bullshit takes far too long.

The staff were very friendly, all the cars at the lot were new with under 40,000 km on the dash. I had a long term rental which I drove daily for 6 weeks and never had any problems or concerns. They have a transport service that can take you to and from the airport as they're offsite

Like: Convenient airport shuttle service
Dislike: Staff Should be better informed about the Brisbane toll system

The car was amazing, very clean and very fuel efficient. Picking the car up was a mission as the person on the phone directed me to the wrong pick up point. Then the man at the counter proceeded to chat with a customer for about 15 minutes while I waited. He didn't acknowledge me and could have wrapped up that transaction in much less time. He was a tall stocky man. Then the other guy who also didn't acknowledged me whilst tapping away on the computer served a man who walked in behind he. Not off to a good start. Thankfully dropping the car off was very smooth and the man was professional and efficient. Restored my faith in this car rental place.

I missed the rental company's shuttle because my flight was delayed, and the pickup location at Brisbane airport was really hard to find. In the end, I had to call a taxi to get there, which was very inconvenient. In the future, I will stick to companies that offer car pickup directly at the airport!

There were not many staff members, so a bit of waiting time was needed.

The offsite drop-off and pickup were a hassle. Had to leave the car with Hertz in Melbourne as email said the airport and paperwork said an offsite address. I used the email address and was hassled by Hertz

On the Sydney drop off point, past the gantry, there was no further indication on where the office was. There should be more signage to help on that.

The staff kept pushing insurance, very annoying.

Dislike: Nothing

The picking and drop-off process from the Airport is a bit time consuming.
