Terrible experience with budget

They did not have the car on site at the pickup time and told me I would need to wait an hour. This is a common thing for them, according to reviews. They have me the wrong car, a tiny little car, instead of what I booked. They wanted me to sign the 'no visible damage' report without seeing the car, which I refused - which was good because it did have visible damage. There was garbage inside the car under the seat. They would not accept my visa card as payment for the deposit. They did not honor the zero dollar deductible I already paid for with my voucher and instead made it $300. In total, a terrible rental experience.

“Awesome Service at Budget”

I rented the cheapest car but it proved inadequate. My wife actually got sick from the vehicle. It was too small and too tinny. That was entirely on me. I contacted Budget and the next day was able to exchange the small car for a 2019 Ford Taurus that proved to be awesome. Additionally, I rented the first vehicle at the airport and was able to exchange the vehicle in Victoria. I then was able to drop off the second vehicle back at the airport. Awesome service!

“Easycar great. Budget very disappointing”

Much smaller car than booked and office insisted this was the correct size. We were in a rush so couldn’t waste time arguing. No way is a Nissan Micra a COMPACT car! Basically tried to upsell a bigger car. I think tried it on because we were 2 females. Very disappointing!

“Delayed delivery of Vehicle/ Paid way more for Gas!”

I booked a standard car and get a YUKON XL- because they did not have anything smaller and consequently spent about $75 extra on gas! Very disappointed and hope that I will be refunded for the extra gas
