Excellent value for money from EasyRentCars; poor customer service from Europcar.

All was as expected with small budget vehicle

I've had a few problems with the site with vehicles shown as available becoming unavailable during the process, but otherwise fine.

Smooth pick-up and drop-off, no hidden extras, fun car to drive (Fiat 500). Boot not big enough for a large suitcase but I will know that for next time!

Perfect way to rent a car at a good price.

Please don't try to trick people by scaring them about insurance. Most people have comprehensive travel insurance and when they say they don't need your insurance you shouldn't proceed to scare them that it is not enough. trying to upgrade people to another car for Inflated prices is not good. I was offered an upgrade if I paid £15 a day _ this is more than I paid for the car I hired! I was told it woukd be more economic as it was diesel!!!! We didn't use more than 15 pounds of petrol a day.

Upgraded to larger and more capable car. More documents required than I expected. For overseas driver: overseas license, passport and flight ticket.

Okay

Like: Pleasantly surprised by how helpful the Europcar office staff were with limited upsell.
Dislike: I got slightly confused at Heathrow T2 over which bus stop to use for the shuttle - some better signage that can be seen at a distance would help.
