The GOLDCAR - SYDNEY AIRPORT car hire location is in terminal

Europcar Counter Locations: International Terminal (T1) Virgin Terminal (T2) If the domestic counters are unmanned, please proceed to the Europcar office located adjacent to the domestic terminals.

Drop-off Instructions

International Connections: Please follow the signs for the International Terminal (T1) and return the vehicle to the designated Europcar return area. If no Europcar staff is present in the car park, please drop off the car keys at the Europcar counter inside Terminal T1. Domestic Returns/Connections: Follow the signs for 'Rental Car Returns' near Domestic T2 Arrivals. The return area is located in the bottom car park of the Europcar Office, where the vehicle was originally collected.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation and you must present your original driving licence at the counter.

Original driving licence + NAATI Translation

The translation of the driver's license certified by the Australian Translation and Accreditation Institute (NAATI) can be used to rent a car and drive in Australia.

For local renters, you need to bring:
