When picking up the car in Granada, the fuel tank was empty. Unfamiliar with fuel prices in Spain, I asked the staff how much fuel I would need for a trip from Granada to Ronda to Seville, and they estimated around 70 euros. I filled the tank with 70 euros worth of fuel, but by the time I returned the car, the tank was still three-quarters full. This was far from the actual amount used. The car rental company refused to negotiate or refund when I returned the car. I believe the company intentionally gave an inaccurate estimate to earn undue profit. Consequently, I filed a complaint through the car-sharing platform, requesting a 75% refund of the 70 euros, which is 52.5 euros or its equivalent in RMB.
After a month of communication, I ultimately did not receive any compensation.
This was my first time using the car-sharing platform and I was very disappointed. It was a terrible experience.
