Fantastic experience overall! The car was in great condition, they had a shuttle to pick us up, and since my flight arrived late they even let me return the car a few hours later at no extra hassle. Really happy with the service, definitely a rental company I’d recommend.
Absolutely awesome—no lines, they even helped us hook up our phone to the car system and set up the music. Drop-off was super relaxed, they barely checked anything, no strict fuel rules, zero hard selling. The best views are definitely along the road, so I highly recommend them.
All the rental companies are in one building next to Chicago airport, so the shuttle ride over is really easy. The line at Dollar moved fast, pickup was smooth, and they gave us a super cute Kia Soul that was perfect for two people.
The office was fairly easy to find, and the manager was a young woman who actually seemed pretty experienced. Parking in Spain is insanely tight almost everywhere, which was really frustrating. When we first saw the rental car, we just couldn’t accept it at all—a 7‑seater that looked tiny. There were six of us, and we honestly couldn’t imagine how we were all supposed to fit. The manager told us, basically: if we don’t take this car, the rental we already paid is non‑refundable; if we wanted to switch to the 9‑seat Mercedes, it would be €200 a day. So we reluctantly took this “unbelievably small” car, squeezed six people in, and piled our luggage up like a mountain. Later, after driving into a few indoor car parks in Spain and Portugal, we realized how lucky we were—if we’d actually swapped to that Mercedes van, we’d have been in serious trouble, just trying to find and get into parking spaces would have driven us crazy. In the end we were genuinely thankful for that “cold and heartless” manager and her refusal to compromise.
The car was basically brand new, in great condition, and I drove over 1,000 miles with no issues. The front desk recommended a restaurant in Seward that turned out to be the best spot I visited on my entire Alaska road trip. I did a solo nine‑day loop around Alaska, and the car was so spacious I could even sleep in it, haha. QEEQ’s service was excellent—whenever something came up, they handled it quickly. I’ll definitely keep using QEEQ in the future.
