CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON THAI RENT A CAR IN CHIANG MAI

For someone like me who has poor English skills, the staff were very patient, repeatedly highlighting important points to be aware of. Excellent service.

The counter is small but the service is good. It's located inside the airport, which is quite small. The car inspection was simple. I was worried about filling the wrong fuel, so I asked the staff to write down the fuel type. The staff drew a flower instead, which is how it's written in Thai.

I booked a Nissan Almira but they gave me a Yaris which was a much lower-powered car

It seems to me that Thai Rent A Car takes advantage of the tourist, they charged us a fine of 5,000 baht because the boy who checked the vehicle in the delivery assured that he had smoked inside the car, the revision was done when it was still dark and had not left the sun and affirmed that there were some particles in the floor of the interior of the vehicle that showed that he had smoked inside. Although we denied having smoked inside, the boy told us that if they had smoked and that they did not return the bail that "was" 5,000 baht in a clear position of power since they had bail. We told him that we wanted to make a claim because we were not satisfied with his accusation and fine, but the boy told us that the claims could not be made until after the time of our departure from the flight, so we could not claim, we told him we wanted to warn the police and the same case, it would not arrive before our departure from the flight. I think they are abusing the tourist and this in the long term will harm them because at least we will not return.

Good car with good price

All the paperwork was done in about 10 minutes, and they even gave us a case of water.

It's been 2 months and the car rental company still hasn't refunded the pre-authorization. The car was in perfect condition when it was returned!

Efficient and economical

Communication was mostly in English.

Very satisfied. We arrived at Chiang Mai Airport at 11 pm. Their staff was very enthusiastic.

The processing speed was pretty quick, and the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. The only thing missing was them not escorting us to pick up the car.

Everything fine. Just only feel crack when u have to return the car back. Especially the booth in the airport and we travel with the baby. That we need to go to the gate for scan. I know it not your fault. But if u could improve the way to drop off the car more convenient for guest will be super perfect. By the way thank you for your service. We love our car and we will be back again

Picking up and returning the car is very quick and convenient...

The wiper is very bad so when we drove in the rain at night, it is quite dangerous so recommend to change it more often. The brand logo is loose so when we drive to Chiang Rai and the road is a bit rough, the logo is gone

No queues, efficient, clear, simple

Like: I liked renting a car here. Very easy to mind in the airport. Fast and friendly staff. Car was excellent with no problems. I would use the again.
Dislike: No problems with the firm or the car.

Very convenient, the vehicle was very safe to use.

The staff had a bad attitude.
