Pick-up Instructions

Europcar Newcastle Railway station is a 5-10 minute walk from the entrance of the Central Station. Leaving the Central Station, turn right, pass the Royal Hotel on your right. Turn right down the pedestrian tunnel, then left and our office is situated at the end of the row of arches

Drop-off Instructions

For returns during office hours please park up the vehicle in Genting Casino Car Park, which is situated adjacent to the Europcar office. Drive up to the barrier to open and once inside, park your vehicle as close to the main roadside by the wall as possible. Please note, once in the car park it is not possible to leave with the vehicle. Please secure the vehicle and take the keys to the office. There are no facilities to drop the vehicle off out of office hours at this station.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 2 year(s).

The drop off experience was abysmal. The location was closed for our planned drop off time and nobody communicated anything to us. There was no drop box available as the business park was locked. We then called customer service who was unhelpful and proceeded to put us on hold for 45 minutes before hanging up on me. We decided to take the car to Luton airport as it was the nearest open location. The young man at reception was helpful, but I was already fuming about the additional time and stress we had to go through to drop off the car.
