AIRLINE PASSENGER: Our desk is in the Domestic Arrivals hall, just past the baggage claim area. From there you will be directed to the Car Rental Centre, just turn left after exiting the Terminal building and follow the signs LOCAL RENTER: Exit M8 to Airport. Follow one-way system to pedestrian lights. Turn right passing hotel on left. At roundabout take right exit and turn left into Avis Car park.

The initial car was too small, despite us booking for 5 adults we were given a tiny SUC that we would not have fitted in. However, the agent at AVIS was extremely and offered an upgrade at a fraction of the normal price which allowed us to have the room we needed.

I was extremely satisfied with the service at the Avis store at Glasgow Airport. After explaining that we had already purchased insurance from QEEQ, they didn't try to upsell additional insurance. The vehicle was new and in excellent condition. We were given a Volkswagen Polo that was registered in the first half of 2021 and had only 9,955 km on it, basically a new car. They held a deposit of £200 during the rental, but the refund process was incredibly fast. We returned the car at 6 PM on the 14th, and by 7 AM the next morning, we received a notification from the bank that the pre-authorization hold was lifted. This speed deserves a big thumbs up.
