Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation.You must present your original driving licence with the original IDP at the counter.

For local renters, you need to bring:

In the event of cross-border crossing, the Lessee must contract “CROSS BORDER ALBANIA” supplement, which is mandatory for crossing borders. In addition to the supplement, a fee must be paid at the border, as established by jurisdictional regulations, known as the Green Card, which corresponds to the days spent outside Albanian territory. This fee, imposed by the authorities of the country, will vary depending on the period of time, ranging from 14 days to 365 days. Please inquire at the rental location for pricing details.
