You can walk to the counter of FLIZZR - Almeria Airport car hire.

Once you have collected your luggage, follow the signs for Rent a Car (towards the exit). You will find our SIXT branch in the hall.

Drop-off Instructions

The airport is located on the Carretera Níjar - Alquián. You will find directions to the airport. Once you have arrived, follow the signs to the Rent a Car car park (in front of the airport building). Please park the SIXT vehicle in one of our parking places and hand over the key to one of our colleagues in the arrivals hall situated inside the main building.

Age requirements

18 - 80 years old

Young Driver Fee applies at 18 - 22 years old with charge of EUR 14.99 - 15.99 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation and you must present your original driving licence at the counter.

EU Driving Licence

For local renters, you need to bring:
