Pick-up Instructions

Shuttle Service: When you exit on arrivals hall, please go to Departures level (upper floor) and follow airport's signs to Off airport Car Rental Shuttle Busses. There is a designated car rental shuttle bus area (meeting point on the far-left-end of the first lane), where you will find Autounion's Shuttle bus (5 min driving to our office).

Drop-off Instructions

Your vehicle will be supplied with fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges you will need to return it with the same amount of fuel as it had when you collected it. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card that will be released when you return your car with the required amount of fuel. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. A refuelling charge may also be applicable.

Towards any countries, taking rental cars crossing border is allowed with certain conditions.

Driving to the North part of Cyprus is not allowed. Insurance companies DO NOT offer any cover while you drive to the North part of Cyprus, NOT under the control of the Cyprus Republic. Autounion is also unable to offer any support there both in case of breakdown or accident. Driving to the North part of Cyprus is done entirely on your own risk. Autounion has the right to claim from the driver any amount to cover the whole of the damage caused in the Northern part of Cyprus.

Alex was extremely thorough in explaining the rental details and insurance limitations relating to crossing into the occupied zone of Cyprus. At the time of vehicle handover Alex was again thorough in going over the vehicle identifying existing mark's and issues. The little Spark performed well on the roads around Cyprus and ended up being the most appropriate vehicle for my travels. I am more than happy with my dealings with Alex and Autounion and would be happy to recommend them as well as using their services on my next visit to Cyprus.
