Abroad (rented in France and travel abroad) : covered but a fix package fee will be charged in case of towing : 300€ The driver has the possibility to subscribe to an insurance called the EMS ( 10€/day - Max 30 days) to avoid the towing package in case of a breakdown.

WE reserved the car for pick up at 12pm we received a confirmation, we arrived at Europcar at 1155am, nobody was at the counter, we waited a man came and say they closed at 12pm, and if we wanted the car we will have to pay extra 50 euros!! We told him we were there before 12pm, he was very rude, and ask for another credit card, there is a pending $500.00 dollars charge from them, if it goes through I will deny it! He gave us the wrong address to return the car as well as easy rental, The guy at Europcar was supposed to give us a map and a code to return the car!!, he did not we spend 1 hour driving around Lyon to find the location we almost missed our train because of this, really bad bad service !!!
