There were only a few people, so it was quick.

Quite a satisfying driving experience

I originally booked a fully prepaid car, but on the day of pickup, I was told it was unavailable. To avoid delaying my trip, I had to upgrade the model. However, I later found out that the cost of the originally booked car was not refunded, resulting in double charges. I have kept the payment receipt and transaction records, but have yet to receive a resolution. I don't know if it's due to internal mismanagement of the rental company or inefficiency of the platform!

I love this booking site

They coerced us into upgrading the vehicle without informing us of the additional costs. They presented two keys and asked us to choose between two cars. Though we'd purchased full coverage through our rental service, they refused to acknowledge it and asked for a new purchase, which was inconvenient as it was already late at night.

Asked an Italian friend to help with the process, they explained a lot, it was pretty good.

The problems for drop & pick-up were due to work in progress of all the area of rental car society.

Terrible experience. They promised a Mercedes but only had a Volkswagen van. Refused to refund our money when we decided not to take the car.

I have rented cars multiple times, however, it has always been through Avis/Hertz/EuropCar. This has been the first time I rented Gold Car and experience was a breeze. Collected the car in 15 minutes flat from Florence Airport. Car Drop-Off process took no more than 10 Minutes - Francesco at Gold Car Drop Off was really helpful and quick. The car condition was excellent and as good as new. Just awaiting refund of the deposit/authorisation. Once that comes through, will leave a detailed review. Have been advised that the refund takes about 2 weeks time.

Long waiting times at pick up and sat nav did not work- still trying to get a refund despite complaining on drop off and providing photo evidence. Rip off!

GPS was not good. Rest all ok. Counter staff will make you worry and sell additional insurance even if we have take full protection from easycar.

Booking platform is good. No issues.

Overall, it's fine. Italians might seem a bit reserved, but once you start a conversation, especially about soccer, they can get quite enthusiastic.

There were many people picking up cars, and a Gold member of the company cut in line. Returning the car was very convenient!

The vehicle issue was not resolved. A complaint has been submitted.
