Vehicle was clean and in good condition. Winter tires were in the car as promised. Check in was quick and without any unexpected things. Counter staff explained everything to me. It was quick. Paid 1400 eur deposit from credit card. It was released right after drop off. Brought back with less fuel(forgot to put fuel before arrival), and it was ok me to pay the fuel difference. Drop off was quick also, staff was very helpfull. Then they drive us to the airport.
It was first time I rented a car in Italy. And I saw too many very bad experience reviews from others for other rent companies. But then I discovered Centauro with good reviews. And now from my own experience I would 100% recommend this company. Reasonable price and good quality car and service.

I had a disappointing experience with RentalPlus regarding their airport pickup service at Milan Malpensa on February 29, 2025. Upon arrival, I followed the provided instructions and called their office, where a representative directed me to Arrival Gate 5 and asked me to call back for pickup. However, after reaching the designated location, my repeated calls (at least 15 attempts) went unanswered.
Left without assistance, I had to arrange my own transportation via Uber to their office, costing me €30. When I arrived, their staff acknowledged the issue and suggested I reach out for a refund, but I have yet to receive any resolution.
This experience was frustrating and inconvenient, and I hope RentalPlus improves their communication and reliability for future customers.

The car that I requested was not the same that one that I got I didn’t like the condition of the exterior it was full of mud, dust, etc. it has a lot of visual imperfections

El auto estaba bien, nuevo, pero nuestra experiencia con noleggiare fue mala.
En la retirada estuvimos 2.5 hs. Tuvimos que pagar 450 euros extras por que el auto manual no estaba y el automático valía ese extra. El auto llegó limpio por fuera pero por dentro con papeles, basuras y pañuelos sucios de los que lo usaron anteriormente.
Por otro lado conversamos en la retirada que el auto debíamos devolverlo
16/17 hs. Lo convenimos ambas partes. Me dieron el ok.
Luego en la devolución quisieron cobrarme un día de mas.
Aún no sé qué harán con mi depósito. Quisiera que me sea devuelto.
Lo peor de todo fue que les dijimos que iríamos a las montañas con nieve, que necesitábamos ruedas de invierno y nos dijeron que fuéramos tranquilos que eran ruedas all in one. Nos dieron además unas cadenas textiles muy malas. Fue peligroso manejar. Debimos comprar extra cadenas para poder transitar aún con calles que pasó la máquina era resbaladizo manejar.

First of all, super, super hard sell on insurance by counter staff. Just show that you have bought insurance and stand your ground. They tried scare tactics, shrug as if you are being really dumb etc. Print and bring along your insurance - the moment they see it they will stop saying things like you are not covered.
Then... thankfully because I read earlier reviews, I took a good video of the car at the collection point. They inspected the car super carefully at return and picked up on the smallest of dings which other companies do not do. The moment I said I had a video and could show proof, they did not press the matter. They said the boot cover was missing, I said it did not have one at pick up, "want to see the video?" and then they just dropped the issue.

It's not very convenient that the staff didn't speak English. Nevertheless, they did their best to solve everything by using translation app, so all was fine.

It's a disadvantage that it's not possible to modify the order later on (for instance, to add a child seat). But in general, all is fine!
1) The counter staff was very friendly and helpful.
2) The release of the deposit was immediate!
3) We booked full to full fuel tank, however it was then level to level (which I usually avoid), even though accaptable.
4) The pickup instructions were incorrect. Instructions said exit 8, while it was actually 3. The info on the pickup van was also incorrect, however we managed to get there.
I would use this company again when in Milan. Overall good and happy with the service.

Rita at the counter is great. They explain about the 'limited insurance ' and you can upgrade BUT no hard sell.
They also go to the car with you as you check if there is any pre-existing damage.
Had we not checked the supplied snow chains for size we would have ended up in serious trouble in the mountains. They gave us completely the wrong size. I can’t understand how that could even happen! This has happened numerous times so ALWAYS check
