They got me a car with 75% declared fuel, but it was less than 70%. I gave the car with 75% so I lost money. I rented a full to full car! Not an eco car.

Lovely man at the counter, gave us a slightly bigger car than we had booked as he thought it would be easier as i had a bicycle and it was a brand nee car so was lovely. Explained the toll road process, didnt force insurance on us like some agencies have in the past. Very happy.

Nous n'avions pas remarqué que la réservation était prévue pour 12h et notre vol nous a fait arriver tôt le matin. La voiture pas prête et bien sûr pas d'autre voiture de disponible. Le vendeur nous a proposé une gamme au dessus entre 150-250€ (la blaque !). J'ai dû faire appel au responsable pour lui expliquer la situation : nous devions absolument être en fin de matinée à l'hôpital car maman ayant eu un AVC les visites n'ont lieu que l'après-midi. Si nous devions attendre jusqu'à 12h pour avoir la voiture, nous ne serions jamais arrivé à l'heure pour les visites. Bref, heureusement que le responsable était là car le vendeur au guichet n'a pas eu du coeur, rien, neutre et il nous a même dit "ce n'est pas une raison valable"... Ah bon et c'est quoi d'autre de raison valable alors si ce n'est l'urgence d'aller voir sa mère à l'hôpital ? Bref, service pitoyable. Plus jamais Hertz à Porto en tous cas !

The car is in bad condition. I rent 4 door economic car, but receive 2 door fiat 500. Even worse, the car can’t speed up as expected. The cover for gas refill can’t close firmly which put us in dangers

There were no reasons to complain. All services and advise were well delivered.

Europcar could not provide the reserved SUV. The first female counter staff told me that the reserved car was not returned by the previous car hirer. She then recommended a BMW X6 with additional cost Euro 300 per day but it was on promotion on that date that it was reduced to Euro 200 per day. I refused her recommendation. After about 15 minutes, she said there was only one car, but not SUV, was available. I checked that it was only a four doors car. I therefore complained the bad service of Eourpcar. Later a male duty manager came to me and said my reserved SUV was broken down. It was the different explanation to the former female staff. He was fooling around about 10 minutes and approached me again that a 7 seater car could be provided to me. He leaded me walking around about 5 minutes to find the car but he did not exactly know where it was. I waited at the office for about 5 minutes again. Eventually we checked the car and I accepted. A very unhappy experience with the service of Eoropcar. I will never hire car from this worst company again no matter go to where and will tell my friends not to use this company as well.

Waited too long at airport to be picked up as first van full and had to wait for 2nd car. Long lines at check out counter. Insurance issues. Ending up buying 100€ more on insurance as goldcar made it sound that the insurance I had bought was not good enough. We were tired of the long process and just wanted to get on with our trip so we paid. Not good!!

Long wait to receive car. No option to check for damage yourself. Upsold at every opportunity. Lots of hidden fees and high taxes. Overcharged in return. Overcharged for additional driver refueling and an extra day. Manager acknowledged mistakes and no resolution has been met. Terrible experience.

The car rental price is much cheaper than other well-known companies, but there are extra charges when picking up the car! This company said that the full insurance I bought through the rental website was not theirs and required me to charge 2450 euros as a deposit, which exceeded my French credit card's single transaction limit. Then they immediately suggested that I could charge only 400 euros if I paid an additional 20 euros per day as a fee. So the actual rental cost was 20 euros more per day compared to the booking price on the website! Although overall still cheaper than big companies like Hertz, this kind of trick is very annoying! In my over twenty years of renting cars in Europe, I've never experienced this before; usually, paying for insurance means no deposit required. True to their company name (Surprice=Surprise). The staff was nice, but this trick was unexpected. I saw that everyone was discussing with them for a long time, and the waiting time to pick up the car was quite long. I recommend not renting from this company.

La voiture réservé n'était pas celle reçu au Portugal. Une attente 1h30 sur place c'est horrible, peu de chaises, pas de place. Faire attention sur tout sur place.

Rien à dire, tout c'est bien passé.

Nous avons eu un véhicule quasi neuf, d'une catégorie supérieure. Très appréciable. Par contre, comme le tarif dont nous avons bénéficié était extrêmement attractif, le responsable, un peu désappointé, a tenté de nous faire souscrire une assurance complémentaire. Mais au final, une belle expérience.

It was not very clear concerning the insurance

Nice car, a little too many dents on it but good ride. Staff was exceptionally helpful. First time booking with Surprice but very pleased with the overall service and support.

A bit too many scratches for a rental car but all very good, no problems what so ever.

I hated it, they did not accept my credit card, because "there was not my printed name on the card". Then they would not accept my AMEX. Then luckily I had a spare card with sufficient funds. I almost lost my booking and would have a no-show. This rental company did not accept free driving in Spain. The car lights of maintenance turned on.
