“First time driving in the US around Seattle and Olympic National Park, it was great! Few cars, but m”

It was my first time renting a car in the US. At pickup, they asked if I needed to purchase various insurances, but I didn't. Wanted a small Ford, and with the staff's help, successfully changed the car. Midway, had a flat tire, and my phone had no signal. Communication was difficult when I got back to a big city, so I decided to go to a rental point for face-to-face help. The staff helped me switch to a new red Dodge. As for the tire, they said someone might contact me about compensation, but friends said it should be fine. When returning the car, there is no shuttle bus from 01:00-04:00. As I had an early flight, I returned the car around 5:00. There aren't many 24-hour gas stations near Portland, so I recommend checking Google Maps and calling ahead to avoid last-minute rush. Returning the car was very smooth; they just took a look and printed out my receipt. Overall, it was a good experience.
Like: The whole process was super easy, from reserving the car online, to pick up and drop off. We went to Portland for the eclipse and we're having a hard time finding an available car. We found a minivan on easycarrentals at a great price and I booked it. I wasn't sure if it would be there when we arrived, but it was and we were on our way in no time!
Returned the car without a full tank and got a huge fine. The car provided was very small, not sure if it was the model I reserved, but it was quite fuel-efficient.
“I rented a car for a business trip, no itinerary recommendations.”

I booked a Dodge Avenger, but they said it wasn't available and gave me a Corolla instead. I understand that an exact match can't always be guaranteed, but grouping a Dodge Avenger with a 2.4L engine and a Toyota Corolla with a 1.8L engine into the same category doesn't seem logical. They offered an upgrade and insurance when I picked up the car, but I declined. The return process was very quick, and overall, the service was professional. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store to the north of the branch that provides fuel.
Hertz's car condition was good, and the car was very clean when I picked it up. Both picking up and dropping off the car were very convenient. However, when renting a car in the US, you must check the tire pressure. It's best to go to a gas station to inflate the tires. During the first week, I felt that the car's road feel was very poor. At a gas station, I discovered that the tire pressure was seriously insufficient! The price on QEEQ's order was significantly different from the actual price, over $100 more, apparently due to taxes and fees. Being unfamiliar with the area, I just had to accept it.
“The scenery in the U.S. is different from our country, but still very beautiful.”
About Thrifty:8.0/10
I chose the Thrifty store near Portland airport, which is about a 4-minute drive from the exit. The store has a shuttle to take rental customers to and from the airport for free, ensuring no time is wasted. Upon arriving at the store, I handed over my rental documents. In 5-7 minutes, all the formalities were completed without any upselling. They only asked about my preference for the fuel policy. After getting the complete set of documents, they told me the location of the car. At this point, I inspected the car, set up the GPS, and familiarized myself with the controls. Though I booked a Ford Escape, I was given a Nissan Rogue instead. It was an all-wheel drive, responded quickly to the gas pedal, and was brand new with only 700 miles on it. Over the next few days, this car performed superbly whether on mountain roads or highways, with enough speed and power. When returning the car, the staff did a walk-around inspection and a once-over inside the car. After unloading our luggage, we waited at the drop-off point for the shuttle to take us back to the airport. The shuttle arrived quickly, and the return process took just 3 minutes.
