The service attitude was excellent, but the efficiency of Saudi staff is relatively low. The entire car pickup procedure took around 40 minutes. The vehicle's condition was quite poor, with many stains on the seats. The car's performance was weak, and pressing the accelerator caused significant jerking, making overtaking nearly impossible.
Very dissatisfied. Upon return, they nitpicked and claimed the underside of the car was scratched by flying sand and stones, insisting on a charge of 115 SAR. They also deducted the deposit twice, each time 2000 SAR.
The car wasn't full of fuel when I picked it up, and they wouldn't refund me the extra fuel I added when returning it. After some arguments, they said the fuel cost covered the overtime fee, so I didn't have to pay it. In reality, they actually lost 15 SAR. I really can't understand the logic of Saudis.
In El Aura, there are only two car rental companies. I was worried there might be no cars available on-site, so I booked in advance. The advance booking process was quick, and they pre-authorized 2000 riyals. After completing the process, you’ll get a receipt and then head to the parking lot to find the staff and pick up the car. There are no signs in the parking lot, so it took some time to locate the staff. The staff members are sitting inside the cars, which makes them a bit hard to find. The car was quite new, and after the staff checked and registered the car, you’re ready to go.
Very good, the process was relatively quick, and the service was excellent! However, Budget has too few car models and limited availability, with just one row of cars. In comparison, Lumi has four rows and allows direct counter rentals.
