The car was impounded and towed by the police. The rental company charged me €1100, and I did not receive any calls or messages. I have no idea how they charged such a large amount. Typically, even police fines are not directly collected by the rental company. I consulted my Spanish friends, and they confirmed that the police cannot issue fines to the rental company. So I suspect the rental company charged me arbitrarily, and the amount is huge and unreasonable. I am still waiting for a response from the Zuzuche platform!!!

It is absolutely ridiculous to ask a foreigner to submit a Spanish credit card. I was not the only one to be rejected because of this reason. Absolutely disgusting
They only care about selling extras and making sure you sign on a screen with your signature.
Not clear what you are paying for as they talk very quickly and they just tell you 'You have selected this option' which is not true. Terrible service, they are only after extra money ,probably on commission.
