Cars were ok it was the counter person that told us a lie. Our resorts was Wyndham just off either 95 or the toll road. Fact is, we never passed a toll booth on the Toll road or 95. He told us we would pass 4 tolls to our resort and it would cost $25 per toll, thus, $200 when we returned the car on I 95. Another lie. Even the girl working that day said the same thing. We will NEVER recommend Right Cars.
I’m local and showed my own insurance information but the clerk charged me for insurance. I brought my own Sunpass transponder but the clerk charged me $5 daily for “activation fees”. The shuttle took almost 40 minutes to pick us up from the airport. The rental car office facility is literally a shak at a repair shop.

They were giving me a car with bad tires, cuts in 3 of them , unsafe, low profile tires and rims...the rims were all scratched up due to the low profile tires. Should not be renting cars with low profile tires. Manager said he could not give me a different class of car , even though i would have taken smaller. Had to wait over an hour for a Hyundai Sonata lucky that it came back. This was the only car on the lot like this...all others were fine. be very careful on the 300,000 liability of your own insurance you must have to avoid high charges.

I have been renting cars in Florida for 25 years. I always have a pleasant experience. Right Cars was absolutely horrendous. From the moment I picked up the car until drop off. The car was unsafe and dirty. Ontop of that, the customer service made the experience the absolute worst.
When I went to pick up the car, the supervisor, Oscar wanted to charge me extra insurance because I didn't have the "sufficient coverage". I called my agent infront of him, and she assured me that I had more than enough coverage. He argued for about 25 minutes claiming this $300,000 property provision was in the terms and conditions when I booked. I pulled up the terms and conditions infront of him, read them aloud, and no where did it state a property provision. Our declaration stated we had enough coverage as well as the fact that I have $500,000 in liability.
He was rude, nasty, and extremely condescending. He seemed happy to argue with me. The vehicle was absolutely disgusting. Myself and my daughters were grossed out to sit in it. All four windows, including the windshield were dirty and didn't look like they were ever cleaned from the inside. There was some sort of glue all over the middle of the windshield which was a huge distraction while driving at night. The car had an abrupt shake if you went over 55 mph. In addition, the car had over 30,000 miles on it. In all of my years of renting a car, they have never had anything close to 30,000 miles. We returned to Right Cars to get into another argument. I told Oscar about the condition of the car and the shaking. He did not seem phased. I filled up the car and upon returning it, it was down by one tick of gas. He insisted he must charge me a $50 gas fee. I had to have my daughter drive the car to the nearest gas station to fill up 1 gallon of gas. This made us late to the airport, requiring us to take an Uber. He was rude and did not care that he was making us late at all. Terrible experience and I will never rent again.
