1. Extremely slow, caused us to miss the train.
2. I clearly stated I had purchased full insurance via the rental platform, but they kept insisting we buy their insurance, threatening huge losses if we didn't.
3. The car they gave us showed multiple warning lights within a day: maintenance light, rear-right light not working, and the car's performance was poor. I booked a Volkswagen, but they gave me a Mazda.
The Avis counter staff were WONDERFUL. The car had a dent in it that was unnoticed by their review, so I have to sort that out because they think I didn't (but I didn't), and the vehicle needed replacement of some fluid during the trip that I shouldn't have had to deal with. So I don't think their maintenance/vehicle care team is strong. But they credited me at the counter for the cost of the fluid I had to purchase, so that was good.
