There was a very long wait to get to the office from the airport to pick up the car. And the price we paid for full insurance is too high (15 euros per day) as compared to another place on the island where they only take 9 euros per day for the same insurance !

There is no office at Santorini Airport. At the agreed time, a staff member will come to you with the car. The guy who assisted was very friendly and explained everything clearly. When returning the car, you might sometimes leave it directly at the airport parking lot without locking it or meeting anyone. Although this feels a bit unsettling, it seems to be fine.

“Ride with a 24 hour rental and return service.”

Wish the directions for where to get the shuttle for the ride to the rental car place was a little bit more clear than it was. The ride to the car rental place is about 10 min from the airport. The person at the counter asked us where we were going and warned of us the area we were driving. Great Advice. Loved the fact the this was a 24 hour rental agency.

They need to have more clean and new vehicles to rent out to the customers. The engine has already done 90+K mileage. Not clean from inside. Making sure they arrive in time to pick-up the passengers from the airport.
