SCAM!!!! That's all I can say.
After arriving to pick up my car the staff decided I'm a resident and demanded some insane documents to rent a car. "Well, sir if you read the fine print..."
I DIDN'T GET IT IN THE END!!!
Had to pay walk-in prices at a proper place, or lose all the money invested in the trip.
Fine, keep the money, hope karma gets you!!
We had to take a bus to pick up the car and were told to call to make a reservation, but no one answered the phone, so we had to get help from Beijing customer service. There was only one staff member at the car pickup location, and we waited a long time. Our three-day rental cost only 750 RMB, but insurance under 1800 EUR cost 93 EUR per day, almost the same as the total rental amount. Three days' insurance cost three times the total rental amount. It took nearly an hour to connect and wait for the bus, and another hour to pick up the car. By the time we could drive, it was almost dark. Driving on the right side, which we were not used to, made the journey quite dangerous.
Appalling , you advertise cars that are 1 year old the heap you gave me was 3 years old over 65000 miles and service light was on, you tried to sell me add on car insurance by scaring me and swiped my card for over 2000 euros that takes 18 days to return , shocking service, add to this I had to pay for a taxi to get to your site all round a joke , never again
“Poor service, bald illegal tyres on vehicle and no drop off details”
About Easirent:3.7/10
There was no courtesy bus on the day of our arrival and I got a taxi to the hire car base. The attendant asked me did I get a receipt and when I hadn't, did not reimburse me for the fare. The car tyres were bald on the front outside edges. I showed this to the booking attendant. He said there was no other vehicles and they were ok. He then marked them on the condition report. When I lost my key (and later found) in Donegal - they said the spare key was in Liverpool???
When I returned the car - I later found out it was a different location. The attendant said the tyres would be replaced immediately. EasiRent hired me a car that was both dangerous and unroadworthy
Staff and car excellent. Had to take a taxi to collect car. Driver very unhappy with short journey...and made his view clearly known. That was an uncomfortable experience.
Stephanie checked me in and was lovely
