The staff at the Rhodium ick up desk were very eager to sell the extra insurance even though I stated I had extra cover and therefore was not interested so pick up was long.
Returning the car was not a pleasant experience and as a customer you were made to feel that you had to pass some kind of test during vehicle inspection I would not recommend it
Waited for a long time because the car was not on the system at the desk despite me having an email confirmation. Not even sure who the car was supplied by - Rhodium, Ace or Gold Cars? Waited for an hour for this to be rectified with a preganant girlfriend. Lady at the pick up desk was rude and unhelpful, I was told I was 'lucky you dont have to wait longer'. Aggressive attempts to sell insurance add ons. Eventually collected the car which was dented, scratched and dirty inside and out. Was told 'you are lucky its scratched because then its less likely you'll be charged for scratches that you cant even see when you bring it back'! In summary, a poor start to our holiday. Won't be using again.
It wasn't ACE but Goldcar. I felt like i was made to take out full insurance. There were dents around the car and the number plate looked like it has been badly damaged. It was not a pleasant experience. I will be using a proper hire car firm in future like Hertz.
I booked a car through Ace whose local agents showed as Rhodium. In fact they were using, in my opinion and that of scores of people, the worst car hire company in the world - Goldcar.

As a booking platform it was very good except the information about the company they use was totally and unforgivably incorrect.

The car was amazing. The staff at the car park were really friendly and helpful too.
But the staff at the desk were not so friendly and also a bit of a mess - a long queue formed and we waited almost an hour even though we arrived with just 2 groups in front of us.
Also, I would recommend taking photos of the car beforehand. There was a scratch that was not caused by us but had not been recorded. The blame would have been put on us had I not taken a photo that showed it was there before we left.
