Pick-up Instructions

The GREEN MOTION - Edinburgh Airport - Green Motion car hire location is located out of the airport

Green Motion Edinburgh Airport is located within the Secure Airparks Car Park and offers a complimentary shuttle service via their bus service. After collecting your luggage exit the airport and please proceed to the coach park, which is next to the multi storey car park and opposite the Tram Station. Please follow signs to the Tram Station and proceed towards the covered walk way. Once in the covered walk way area, go towards the pedestrian crossing and when safe to do so, please cross over to the coach park and wait at coach park stand 10. Advise the driver you are a Green Motion Customer. Once you arrive at Secure Airparks Car Park, please exit at Bus Stop 2 - you will see Green Motion Vehicle Rental located next to this stop. The shuttle bus runs approximately every 10 minutes (24 hours a day) with a journey time 3 minutes, even if your flight is late at night.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 2 year(s).

They posted a fraudulent charge on my credit card the day after I dropped the car off (out of hours) and claimed I was responsible for the damage that already existed on the car when I picked it up. I send them a picture less than an hour after I collected the car of a chip on the windshield that I didn't see until after I left the lot. I took the picture as soon as I arrived at my destination as I couldn't take it any earlier. I'm challengin the charge via my credit card issuer and will ask that you remove greenMotion as a vendor on your site as many others have posted similar experiences on review sites like google and yelp. I'm not the first and I won't be the last one to be conned by these grifters

The overall service was quite mediocre. They kept pushing for upgrades. Without upgrading the insurance, unlimited mileage is not available (unlike at Gatwick).
