You can walk to the counter of CAEL - Porto - Airport car hire.

CAEL has a rental station outside of the airport terminal. After picking up your luggage go towards the arrivals exit. Outside take your right and walk about 150 meters up to the Avenue, cross to the other side at the crosswalk, and you find us ahead. Young Driver Fee applies at 21 - 22 years old with charge of EUR 20 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation and you must present your original driving licence at the counter.

For local renters, you need to bring:

The car is to small for my needs. Thats not the fault of CAEL or easyrentcars. Thats my fault. The location for drop off was not easily found on google maps for pick up or drop off. Calling ahead said the rental place opened at 6:30am, this was not the case and waited around until 7:30am when someone showed up. The staff was great and professional though. No complaints there.
