Pick-up Instructions

The GrandRich Car Rental - Airport Pickup & Delivery car hire location is in terminal

Please contact the staff to pick you up to GrandRich Car Rental - Airport Pickup & Delivery car hire when you arrived.

Terminal 1: Please exit the arrival hall and wait near the ‘Du’ mobile shop close to the exit. Terminal 2: Please exit the arrival hall and wait near the Costa Coffee shop. Terminal 3: Please exit the arrival hall and wait in front of Starbucks. Once you reach the meeting point, please message or call me so I can come to meet you immediately.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the car to our office at GRANDRICH RENT A CAR, Shop 29, Ibn Al Zahrawi St, Al Jaddaf. Upon arrival, our staff will inspect the vehicle and complete the return formalities with you. After the inspection is finished, our representative will take you to the airport if you have purchased the delivery service. Please inform us of your estimated arrival time in advance so we can arrange for our staff accordingly.

In addition, if transiting into Oman, the insurance purchased at the Oman border is Third Party Liability Insurance.

Overall the rental experience was great – the car was in good condition, pretty new, and they were really friendly to Chinese customers. When we returned the car, the two Cantonese guys there were super nice and very professional, seriously thumbs up. The only downside was a little incident at pickup: the guy handling our car was a bit careless and forgot to give us the documents we needed for Oman, so we had to drive 10 km back to get them. He also kept mentioning extra charges for this and that, which made us feel a bit uneasy right after landing, even though we didn’t end up paying anything extra. At one point we really wondered if this company was reliable, but the great service from the two Cantonese staff at drop-off totally turned things around.

Super happy with this rental. The exact car I booked was the one I got. Since they’re Chinese themselves, communication was really smooth and everything was straightforward, plus none of that hard-sell insurance stuff you often get from foreign rental companies. Best part is they can handle all the cross-border paperwork (NOC), so it was super convenient to self-drive to Oman.
