Pick-up Instructions

The Alamo - Detroit Metropolitan Airport car hire location is in terminal

The Alamo shuttle is located by following the Ground Transportation signage to the lower level of the Airport Terminal to the Car Rental pick-up area. Upon arrival please proceed to the Alamo counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys. Exit terminal and proceed to Car Rental pick-up area. Upon arrival to the facility, please proceed to the Alamo counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys. Please note: DTW airport is performing construction on Dingell Drive 1/8/2024 through 2/29/2024. We ask that you allot extra time while planning travel to and from MacNamara Terminal during this time.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the car to the parking lot by following the address, and after the car is parked in the designated area of the car rental company, there will be a staff to inspect the car.

Vehicles rented in the United States can be driven into Canada, with the exception of 12 or 15 passenger vans,cargo van，luxury cars but must be returned to the United States unless Renter has pre-arranged with Provider to drop the vehicle off at one of Provider’s approved locations in Canada whereby a transborder fee may apply.
