Drop-off Instructions

After returning the car to the dedicated return space, go to the Nippon Rent-A-Car counter on the 2nd floor of Aeroplaza. *You will be responsible for the toll of the airport bridge when you proceed to the airport. *Please set the navigation destination to "Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport" when you return the car.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + IDP( issued under the 1949 Convention)

Only IDP issued under the 1949 Convention will be accepted. An IDP issued under the Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943) and Vienna Convention (1968) will not be accepted!

Taiwan Driving License in China + Japan Translation

For customers with driver's licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Slovenia, Monaco and Taiwan are allowed to drive vehicles only when they carry both the original license issued in the above countries/regions and a Japanese Translation of such issued by JAF, or foreign embassies or consular offices in Japan.
