Pick-up Instructions

The Jucy - Gold Coast car hire location is located out of the airport

Jucy highly recommend to finish the online check-in process before pick-up, which can save the time for your rest of journey. After arriving at the Gold Coast Airport, collecting your luggage, and clearing customs, call JUCY at +64 9 600 1032 and press Option 1 for a free shuttle transfer. Exit the terminal, walk left to the end of the terminal, and wait at the shuttle collection area for the JUCY shuttle bus.

AIRPORT DROP OFF • After you have returned your vehicle, jump on board the next shuttle bus at the JUCY branch. • We recommend returning your vehicle at least 2.5 hours before you need to be at the airport.

In terms of travelling there, most of the roads are sealed however there are areas where the roads are unsealed and we have some rules you need to be aware of if you do take your JUCY wheels there. If you take your vehicle on any off-road activities or conditions, including on any unsealed road (being a road not sealed with a hard material such as tar, bitumen or concrete) then our excess reduction cover does not provide cover should anything happen. Off-road conditions include: fire trails, beaches, sand, tracks, fields or paddocks. The only exception to this is reasonable use of access roads to recognized commercial campgrounds. To find out more, refer to the terms and conditions. If there is any damage incurred to the vehicle on the ferry, our excess reduction cover stands void.

I went to Gold Coast at night time and pick up after hours. They gave me a automatic car but Gear box and Transmisson is different I never drive same thing like this before then I have to paid for taxi go to motel. So I come back on next day for request change another automatic car and she approved for me get another one. I was lucky at this time very busy but still left only 1 car available for me changed. But I’m not really happy about my costs going higher up because of fee taxi 2 times.

I chose this company because their full insurance was cheaper, only A$25, while other major rental companies charged A$50. This is a New Zealand-based rental company with excellent service and very friendly staff. However, I got a Mitsubishi ASX with 130,000 km on it. It performed decently at low speeds, but once it reached over 100 km/h, the car would start to shake. The vehicle's condition was a bit poor.
