You can walk to the counter of FLIZZR - Hamburg Airport car hire.

From Terminal 1, after collecting any baggage, follow signs to Terminal 2. You will see our SIXT branch in the Terminal 2 arrivals area. From Terminal 2, after collecting any baggage, head out the the arrivals area and our SIXT branch is located right there.

Drop-off Instructions

Navigate to our SIXT return area at Hans-Grade-Weg Mietwagenrückgabe, 22335 Hamburg. Once you arrive at the return area, you can park in one of the open lanes. A service agent will be there to assist with your return from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 10:00 pm, and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, 8.00 am - 10:00 pm. During those times, you can leave the key with them. If your return is outside of business hours, please check that you have all your belongings, lock the vehicle, and use our SIXT key drop box to return your key.

Age requirements

18 - 80 years old

Young Driver Fee applies at 18 - 23 years old with charge of EUR 10 - 11 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

Damage to the vehicle during the crossing will be covered according to the protection booked in the rental contract. in case of offense against cross-border and territorial restrictions, all liability restrictions lose their validity. only the protection of the liability insurance remains. charges when traveling abroad for permitted journeys abroad in accordance with the above-mentioned entry restrictions, sixt will charge the contractually agreed travel abroad fee as part of the booking process (se1ectable under \"extras\"). this fee applies independent of the return location and, in the case of a one-way rental, in addition to the one-way fee. for unauthorized use abroad, a contractual penalty of 150.00 euros will be payable.
