You can walk to the counter of Alamo - Barcelona El Prat Airport car hire.

From Terminal 1, exit flight arrivals and follow signs to the Car Rental desks. Which are located a few minutes walk away. From Terminal 2, exit the Terminal Building and proceed outside across the road to the Car Park, where you will find the Car Rental cabin.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the vehicle to the parking lot at either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, depending on your departure flight. For Terminal 1, return the car to the multi-story parking lot directly opposite the terminal. The entrance is on the ground floor.     Overall, this is one of the better car rental companies in Barcelona. The location is easy to find, and the cars are relatively new, like a 2023 Mini. The staff recommended an upgrade, but it was very cheap, only 10 euros per day, and there was no pressure. They only asked about insurance once, so the whole process was very smooth. The only issue was that their customer service phone number couldn't be reached. For late-night returns, you can just use self-return.
