The Advantage - SLC car hire location is located out of the airport

You can arrive of Advantage - SLC car hire by free shuttle bus.

Shuttle pick up service is located across the street from baggage claim area. To locate the shuttle service go to the car rental plaza across the street from terminal one and two. The area is located across from terminal one in the off site shuttle pick up services.

Age requirements

21 - 80 years old

Young Driver Fee applies at 21 - 24 years old with charge of USD 25 per day approximately.

Senior Driver Fee applies at 65 - 80 years old with charge of USD 25 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation and you must present your original driving licence at the counter.

Please note that your English translation should be authorized by the embassy.

Like: Easy in and out, shuttle quickly available

I was obliged to take an SUV, when I had reserved a compact. Apparently for road to ski hills....would be important to advise customers ahead of time. Going from 112$ to 1085$ US is unacceptable. Then magically offering discounts to an unacceptable price is insulting. I was a solo renter, going from 112$ to 300$ was unaccepable. Then no indications on where I drop off the car, only 1 employee on return, waited over 30 minutes only to be told I just need to drop the keys in a box.

No. I expected a little more economical in terms of gas efficiency. It gave around 17 miles per gallon combine. Engine light was on during my first 200 mile journey.

Advantage did not have the car we want. They say that their cars are for first come first serve (base on customer that come in), even though I reserved it online. We have to upgrade and pay more for an SUV. Basically they gave us an option which isn't much option to choose from. They say reserving online only lock the price, but doesn't lock the car, which then I don't understand what is the purpose of me spending my time choosing the car for so long, because in the end, the car availability is in correct and it's totally up to what advantage have.
