Welcome to the Digital SIXT branch! For the full digital self-service experience, please verify your account before the rental. This one-time process takes just a few minutes. Simply follow the instruction you will receive by e-mail before pickup and provide your personal information and driver's license. After successful Mobile Check-In you receive the QR code to pick up your keys at our keybox. Rentals and returns are only possible during ship traffic and only for clients coming from/going on board a ship.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

Damage to the vehicle during the crossing will be covered according to the protection booked in the rental contract. in case of offense against cross-border and territorial restrictions, all liability restrictions lose their validity. only the protection of the liability insurance remains. charges when traveling abroad for permitted journeys abroad in accordance with the above-mentioned entry restrictions, sixt will charge the contractually agreed travel abroad fee as part of the booking process (se1ectable under \"extras\"). this fee applies independent of the return location and, in the case of a one-way rental, in addition to the one-way fee. for unauthorized use abroad, a contractual penalty of 150.00 euros will be payable.
