In the case of crossing into permitted territories, we recommend purchasing the International Supplement (INT). This supplement extends the rental terms and conditions to adjacent countries, provided they are one of the countries listed above, and under the coverage and liability conditions agreed upon in the current excess (as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions and the traffic regulations of the country of use are adhered to). If this supplement is not purchased and an accident occurs, the Lessee will be fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle, repatriation costs, and/or the total vehicle cost, as well as compensation for any damages caused. The vehicle may not be boarded or transported by any means of transportation without the prior written authorisation of the Lessor. The store pushed for insurance sales, and after I refused to purchase, they maliciously nitpicked when I returned the car. I picked up the car at night, the lighting was dim, and they only prompted to check the body, not the rims. When returning the car, they claimed there were slight scratches on the rims and maliciously demanded 260 euros for compensation. The scratch was less than 2 cm and it was unclear if it was caused by me, but they still made me pay. This car rental company is maliciously targeting Chinese consumers.
