Pick-up Instructions

The car park is situated off Boad Street. Please follow the Hertz sign posts for "Long Stay Car Park", drive up to the barrier, take a ticket and enter the car park. Follow the Hertz signs up to the 3rd floor, drive over the bridge and turn right. The office is situated on the right hand side. If you are walking, from the station approach, please enter the concourse and at the far end turn left through the exit doors. The Hertz office is located in the car park on the left. ********************************** Due to maintenance work at this location it is currently not possible to rent and return vans at this location, because of height restrictions on the car park. All vans should be returned to Stretford - Chester Road.

If you wish to take a UK registered vehicle into the Republic of Ireland, you are required by law to be in possession of: 1- a VE103B certificate which is proof Hertz has permitted the vehicle to travel outside of the United Kingdom and; 2- a Green Card which is a proof of insurance and must contain the vehicle registration. An advance notice of 12 working days is required for obtaining/issuing a Green Card. The VE103B certificate and the Green Card are not required for travelling to Northern Ireland. Charges for issuing a VE103B and a Green Card are as follows: Number of days into the Republic of Ireland - Standard Cover (including taxes)： 1~7 days - £ 171.99; 14 days - £ 209.90; 15~21 days - £ 226.51; 22~28 days - £ 301.73. The cover can only be purchased at time of pick-up. Should these restrictions be ignored, all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PI, Super Cover), if accepted, shall be null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
