The MODE - Rentals Wellington Branch car hire location is located out of the airport

Please contact the staff to pick you up to MODE - Rentals Wellington Branch car hire when you arrived.

Once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs, call us on (04) 213 8938 to order your shuttle. Our driver will meet you inside the building, just inside the exit doors between the Subway and the Rental Car counters on the ground (lower) floor of the terminal. After-hours pick-ups Online check-in is a requirement for after-hours pick-ups. Check in at moderentals.co.nz/check-in at least 24 hours before your hire.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the car to the branch and contact the counter staff to arrange a shuttle bus to the airport.

Came down for a funeral and I mucked up the pick-up time. Staff were helpful and sorted it out for me over the phone. Communication was clear and the whole process from booking to dropping the car back off again was super easy. It made my trip down stress free in that regards.

Car was in great condition. Nice to drive, 360 deg visibility, seats were comfortable, air conditioning was excellent, cruise control was easy to use. Brakes might need some attention though, they were a bit juddery.
