Pick-up Instructions

The ARNOLD CLARK - Manchester Airport car hire location is located out of the airport

After collecting your baggage, please phone 0161 886 8610. The rental agent will ask for your name, confirm the terminal you have arrived at and give you instructions on where to meet the dedicated Arnold Clark shuttle bus. Please do not use the car rental village shuttle bus as we provide our own dedicated service and are not situated in the village. We are however situated less than half a mile from the car rental village and our journey time from the terminal should take no longer than five minutes.

Drop-off Instructions

All vehicles must be returned to our Manchester Airport rental branch. After your vehicle has been checked in you will be dropped outside the departures terminal of your choice. Under no circumstances should any vehicle be left in any of the car parks at Manchester Airport. This will incur a £100 fine.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 4 year(s).

The friendly professionalism of the yellow taxi (van) driver, on pick up and drop off was awesome. I ordered a Kia Ceed, which is classed as a crossover SUV. The Toyota Corolla I was given, describes itself, in its manual, as a sports hatchback, and being a hybrid, carried batteries below it's rear seat and boot. The resulting boot space was pathetic, barely accepting one large case. The second large case, and two smaller cases were placed along the rear seat, a dangerous option in the event of a forward collision.
