Excellent customer by Ember of Alamo
The Toyota RAV4 was the perfect vehicle for us as a couple travelling around Salt Lake City and Moab for 10 days. The mid-size SUV was able to meet our needs with sufficient room and lots of space for luggage. Ember the Customer Services Agent who served us was excellent and was efficient with our pick-up. Ember did not try to sell us any unnecessary cover as we had booked everything in advance. The only minor issue was Ember wanted details of my return flight for the drop-off, which took me a bit of time to find. The drop-off was very easy and seamless with a printed receipt provided on request. I did not purchase a tank of fuel so I filled up the tank before dropping of the vehicle. There are lots of gas stations in the local area.

Functional, albeit scratched car. Quick and easy pick up and drop off
The car was battered and bruised, full of scratches and has 70k km on the clock. I hire a lot of cars and they're almost always pretty new but it didn't matter, the car worked fine.

Terrible service
In la paz airport thereis no Alamo office outside the airport and I was given no instructions on how to return the vehicle. I had to ask the guys at Avis who told me to park at the car park and go to the office inside the terminal. I did this, and the lady at the Alamo office inside the terminal told me that I had to pay for the parking...

The best quickest rental ever.
The car was new a 2025 model and the customer service guys were friendly and amazing. The drop off was literally few seconds. He looked at the car while he was approaching and then check the fuel level and only asked if I wanted the receipt printed or emailed. Thats all the time it took to drop off the car.
