Pas pu faire le plein au retour, la station de l'aéroport ne disposant plus que du diesel ... j'avais une voiture essence Retourner sur l'autoroute pour une autre station m'aurait fait rater mon avion Compréhension de la personne à l’accueil, j'espère recevoir un décompte honnête !!!!

Tout avait bien fonctionné.

Ordered Peugeot Van or similar, but was given a Seat Arona at pickup, asked to swap as needed a bigger boot size, so car was swapped to Toyota Verso which had a much bigger boot. Car was damaged on 2 panels, but that was not an issue. Less than £300 held on my card whilst renting. Had my own 3rd party excess insurance which was fine. Have used Europcar in the past multiple times and never had a problem. Would use again without hesitation.

About the insurance, it is very important to show if that the third person is included or not. In this location, I have to buy the whole insurance.

The rental company was easy to find, sharing a location with Avis

Ford 9-seater has plenty of room for 8 adults and ski gear. Easy to drive even on alpine roads.

Car was due for service but they didn’t seem to worry about this. Car wasn’t really clean. Guy at the counter under the pressure : only 1 man for 6/7 customers. Should be precised that this agency is located within the Europcar’s office.

Beware the additional ECO charge applicable to all bookings

Easyrentcars eventually refunded the ECO charge that Europcar added on. great service, took a good while.

Some counter staff are not very familiar with the procedures, no one answers the service phone, long waiting times.

We expected a compact car similar to a Ford Focus. a car that has an engine of 1.6-2.0 liter with at least 125 HP. The Opel Crossland X that we were given had a weaker 1.2 - liter Turbo engine with 110 HP. Although we told the Europcar clerk that we are heading for the French Alps, he decided on that weak car. It was no pleasure at all to hear the engine scream climbing the steep ascents in the Alps or trying to keep the car at 130 km/hour on the freeway. I am still waiting for the final charge on my credit card, to see if the deposit was released from it.

The staff was not attentive enough, and I was not satisfied with the replacement vehicle when the same type was unavailable.

The car was perfect. we were glad we got the same car we booked not a similar one. Europcar should quote the final price including the international one way fee, because we checked the price many time while mentioning the pick up and drop off location, but only when it was time for booking and confirming the rental, a notification windows appeared stating that the price was doubled because of the international one way fee. Thank you
