Acceptable

The car quality wasn't great, I had to switch cars twice.

No need to queue, staff willing to help find alternatives

The car rental service was exceptional. Even though I couldn't understand what they were saying, I could feel their patience while they explained things to us. Just for that, it's a full score.

Booked a Volvo and paid, but was given a rear-wheel-drive Opel. The steering wheel struggled occasionally on the highway. Why not offer a free upgrade when the car is unavailable?

Like: Clean car. quick and easy pick up and drop off
Dislike: Not anything I can fault

I reserved a BMW X5 but got a Volvo XC60 instead. Maybe there were fewer cars available, but I booked well in advance.

Like: He was very personable. Answered all my questions. Hopefully gave me a good deal.
Dislike: I needed more information on the ins and outs of the BMW.

Long lines

The car rental company provided excellent service. They were attentive and considerate throughout the whole process. Very satisfied.

A standard car rental counter abroad.

I booked an automatic, but was given a manual car without being informed. By the time I got to the garage and realized the mistake, the rental office had closed. Extremely poor company. Additionally, the car had scratches when I rented it, which was noted in the contract, but they still maliciously charged me. Terrible service, I've never had such a bad experience.

The Hertz in Hamburg had very few cars. I reserved an automatic, but they were not prepared with the right vehicle at all. There were no automatic cars available. After waiting for two to three hours, they finally arranged an automatic car, but it wasn't the model I had booked. Very disappointing.

Convenient and good service

Initially, I was very dissatisfied, but after communicating with QEEQ customer service, their attitude improved greatly.

This company is terrible and untrustworthy. They pressure you into buying full insurance, tell you that there's no need for a vehicle inspection, and then charge you for pre-existing damages. It seems that the previous renter probably paid for the damage and now they are scamming new renters with full insurance to repair the car. Your company in Berlin doesn't even pay for parking fees and gets chased away. It's a disgrace that such a terrible company can exist in Germany and tarnish the country's reputation.

I couldn't rent the car I wanted - a Golf.

Nothing to complain about.

Like: Not only was I treated well, but I overheard how one of the other staff members went out of her way in assisting a couple who struggled with the language.
