Like: The guys at thrifty were so helpful and efficient. I got in late Tuesday night and they made the process go by without any issues.

Friendly service attitude.

I prepaid all fees online for four days, including full insurance and unlimited miles. However, when picking up the car, their system was down, so they couldn't find my information. They created a temporary order, but later charged me an additional $148. The GPS tablet was almost unusable, with a poor signal and very difficult to use, yet they charged me $87.96 for four days. It's absolutely not worth it!

Unnecessary charges, extremely irresponsible service

The trunk lid doesn't lock well, there is a bit of an issue.

I made a reservation in advance and was slightly delayed by traffic, returning the car within an hour past the scheduled time. The agreement was that there would be no additional charges, but the drop-off location still charged an extra $160 for being about 50 minutes late. The original reservation details were not properly communicated to the drop-off point. Ultimately, after waiting about 30 minutes in line and communicating with them, the charge was refunded. If you need to catch a flight, this can be very stressful. I hope the phone customer service and the office staff can coordinate better.

Good service, quick procedures, no hard selling

Dislike: The car. Do not like American cars. Japanese, Korean, and German are much more preferred!!!

Forced to buy insurance during a late-night rental.

Like: I like the fact that I got a Toyota 4Runner for the price of a Sedan.

Dislike: Was good easy, only thing is you need to get a bus to and from the rental depo and airport. Not mentioned anywhere that this is the case when purchasing. You need to allow more time, so when you have a 6am domestic flight you need to drop it off at 4am :(

Dislike: Had to wait for the rental desk to open while other rental companies were open.

Like: This was the fastest car rent in my life. Everything was so easy and fast. The assistant showed really nice and professional so the whole experience was very pleasant. After a long flight, specially with jet lag, it is a nightmare when you have to deal with tons of "offers", "promotions" and "upgrades". For once, it was a bless having the car I chose when making the reservation. Not worse. Not better. Just right :-)
