After exiting the airport arrival hall, turn left and there is a row of car rental counters. Alamo is among them, sharing a counter with Enterprise. Opposite is the Vodafone counter where you can buy a SIM card with good signal, perfect for navigation in the Ionian Islands. It is very convenient to get everything at once.
The fuel level was less than a quarter but marked as 2/8. It's hard to gauge when returning the car, which seems like a deliberate way to take advantage.

Excellent service from all Alamo staff. The car was in good to average condition. It is rare to find a car in great condition renting in Greece (unless one rents from Sixt, who seem to have better maintained cars).

"Price drop protector" has never done anything for me. The BIG problem is that, with Easyrentcars.com and other booking agents, one never knows what car will actually be available. The cars available bear no resemblance to the cars offered. I reserved an Audi A3 and got a Citroen!
