Reserve un VW Atlas pero me dieron un Dodge grande qye gastaba demasiado. Además no le funcionaba la ventana del acompañante. Quise cambiarlo pero me hacían ir al aeropuerto y no quise perder tanto tiempo.
No volveré a Alamo.

The customer service was not familiar with the procedures. They insisted that a translated driver's license was not acceptable and required an international driver's permit. Even when their colleague informed them that the translation was valid, they continued to insist it was not. Finally, their colleague had to explain the situation to the supervisor. After talking to the supervisor, they still emphasized to me that I must use an international driver's permit next time. Not sure if this is an issue with communication between the rental platform and Alamo or if the Alamo staff is just too incompetent. I am not satisfied with this rental experience!
Everything was fine, except the rental car building was a bit far from the airport. Dragging our luggage for a long time and taking the light rail was quite tiring. The queue time was okay, but some people cut in line, especially South Americans. When we tried to reason with them, they pretended not to understand English. My husband spoke to them in Spanish, and only then did they step back, but they glared at us. Very poor manners, although this isn't the rental company's fault, just venting. There were no sales pitches for insurance, they didn’t even mention it. After using a credit card for the deposit, we haven't received the toll bill yet. We'll see if the charges are reasonable.
Alamo offers clear and inexpensive toll roads policy in Florida.
They have a large counter at Miami airport, queues on pick-up are relatively smaller.
The car was a new Chevy Malibu.
